Emma explained she discovered the nifty method almost by accident. "About a year ago I was making my usual baked oats recipe until my lazy curiosity wondered what would happen if I microwaved the mixture instead of putting it into the oven?

According to the content creator, this resulted in a "warm, high protein cakey dream." For her oats, Emma added chocolate chips to the freshly cooked oat mixture and then transferred it all into a bowl of yoghurt, raspberries and apples.

Emma added: "I genuinely eat this most days served up in a bowl like this and it still never gets old. You just can't beat it."
